CONVERSATION WITH A BEAUTIFUL TRUMPETER SWAN

I embarked on an all-day hike in ACFL North in search of wildlife. I traversed eight miles of trail but did not observe much. However, I heard woodpeckers, owls, and various other birds. The beavers have been active on several trees around Big Beaver Pond.

I stopped at Big Beaver Pond to observe the wildlife. The area was bustling with various birds, and the resident Trumpeter Swans were particularly close to the lookout. I attempted to initiate a telepathic connection with one of the swans, hoping it would display its wings fully. The swan remained silent. I always allow the wildlife to lead the interaction when I am out and about. Some may think I am strange, but my successful photography often relies on such interactions. It seemed to be effective.

I received a look that seemed to convey, "I am considering this just for you." Following that, I observed a partial stretch accompanied by the expression, "is this sufficient?" I responded by saying, "well, that is beautiful. However, I would appreciate a bit more."

Subsequently, there was a complete stretch with a fantastic pose.
